I live in Prayagraj—once called Allahabad—a city where two great rivers, the Ganges and Yamuna, meet. Every day, I watch thousands of people come here to bathe in these waters, believing they can wash away their sins. Pilgrims travel from across India, carrying faith, hope, and desperation in their eyes. As I walk along the ghats, I feel the weight of their searching, their longing for peace that only Jesus can truly give.

This city is steeped in history and devotion—Hindu chants rise with the sun, Buddhist prayers echo through temples, and yet so many hearts remain empty. In the midst of this spiritual hunger, I hear God’s quiet call to intercede—for eyes to be opened, for hearts to encounter the Living Water that never runs dry.
There are deep contrasts here: devotion and despair, wealth and want, beauty and brokenness. Children beg near the riverbanks, while sadhus meditate on the same steps. The river flows endlessly, but I pray that one day, the living river of God’s Spirit will flow through these streets, washing away shame and bringing new life.

I am here to love, to serve, and to pray. I long to see Prayagraj transformed—not just by human kindness, but by the power of Jesus’ love. May this city that draws millions seeking cleansing encounter the only One who can truly make us clean—the Savior who gave His life for every soul standing by these waters.
