I live in Patna, one of India’s oldest cities—rich in history, layered with faith, and pulsing with life. Here, ancient temples and Buddhist sites remind us of centuries of searching for enlightenment, and yet, even with all this spiritual legacy, I see so many hearts still hungry for true peace—the peace that only Jesus can give.

Patna is alive with people from every walk of life—students, workers, and families trying to build a future in a city that blends the old and new. But it’s also a place of struggle. Poverty presses hard, and corruption and caste often define where a person can go or what they can become. Still, I believe God is writing a new story here, one not bound by tradition or status, but by His love and grace.
As I walk along the Ganges or through the crowded bazaars, I see children begging, rickshaw drivers calling out, and weary faces worn by the weight of survival. My heart aches, but I also sense the quiet movement of the Holy Spirit—stirring hope in unexpected places, opening hearts, and calling His people to love boldly.

I am here as a follower of Jesus, trusting Him to move in power through prayer and compassion. I long to see Patna transformed—that the same streets where Buddha once walked would one day echo with worship to the Living God; that every home and heart would know His peace, and that His light would shine through this city, bringing new life to Bihar and beyond.

- Pray for spiritual awakening – that the people of Patna, long shaped by ancient religious traditions, would encounter the living Jesus and find in Him the peace and truth they have been seeking for generations.
- Pray for the youth and students – Patna is a growing educational hub. Ask God to raise up a generation of young people who hunger for purpose, integrity, and faith, and who will boldly live for Christ in their city and beyond.
- Pray for compassion and justice – that believers would be moved to care for the poor, the marginalized, and the abandoned children on Patna’s streets, showing the love of Jesus in both word and deed.
- Pray for unity among believers – that the small but growing Christian community in Patna would walk together in humility and love, crossing denominational and social barriers to reflect the unity of Christ’s body.
- Pray for transformation of the city – that God’s presence would change the spiritual atmosphere of Patna, turning it from a place of religious history into a center of revival, where the name of Jesus is known, honored, and loved.
