I walk through Jaipur, the Pink City, where the sun sets the sandstone walls aglow in shades of rose and gold. The air hums with life—vendors calling out in the bazaars, the scent of spices mingling with incense, and the sound of footsteps echoing through ancient palaces and forts. Every corner seems to whisper history, beauty, and longing. Hindu temples and Muslim mosques rise side by side—symbols of a diverse heritage, but also reminders of the wounds that have divided our people for generations.
Jaipur is a city of contrasts. I see children selling toys on crowded streets while others ride to private schools in cars. The hum of technology and progress stands beside the rhythm of old traditions. Faith and ritual are everywhere, yet so many still search for true peace—hearts weary from trying to please gods who never speak back. The sight of orphans and street children breaks me most—faces too young to carry such loneliness, eyes searching for belonging.
Yet, I see signs of hope. I see hands extended to help, prayers whispered in hidden homes, and the quiet courage of believers loving their neighbors in a city that doesn’t yet understand their faith. God is moving here. The same Spirit that carved the mountains around Jaipur is stirring hearts within it—healing division, awakening compassion, and drawing people to Jesus.
I’m here to love, to serve, and to pray. I long for the day when the streets of Jaipur will resound not only with the clamor of markets but with the songs of worship, as this city awakens to the glory of the One True King.
Pray for the people of Jaipur to encounter Jesus, the true source of peace and healing across divisions. (John 14:27)
Pray for the countless children and orphans on the streets to find love, safety, and family through Christ’s body. (Psalm 68:5–6)
Pray for believers in Jaipur to be bold and compassionate, shining Christ’s light in homes, schools, and workplaces. (Matthew 5:14–16)
Pray for reconciliation and understanding among different faith communities throughout Rajasthan. (Ephesians 2:14–16)
Pray for revival to sweep through Jaipur—transforming temples, markets, and neighborhoods into places of worship and hope. (Habakkuk 3:2)
